BJJ
BJJ is a grappling-based martial art focused on controlling an opponent through positioning, leverage, and submissions. Most training happens on the ground — students learn to off-balance, control, escape, and submit using efficient movement instead of strength.
Led by Cal McDonald — black belt with decades of competitive experience at the regional and national level. His coaching is precise, demanding, and built around each student's development.
Neo Combat Lab
FLVX is equipped with Neo Combat Lab — a professional video review system built for BJJ. Every round on the mats can be recorded and reviewed, giving students a real edge in understanding their game.

The lot entrance faces the highway, directly across from FLVX.

Look for the FLVX visitor parking sign on the gate.

The lot is between Man Lee Asian Store and Nanaimo Autobahn.

Use The Marked Crosswalk
Cross Trans-Canada Highway at the nearby marked crosswalk. Please cross safely.

Walk straight through the terminal-side entrance. There’s no need to go around.
